U10's Start the Season With a Win

Barkingside U10's started the season in convincing fashion with a comfortable win against Young Stars.

After an excellent early save from Lewis, the Light Blues took control and scored a brilliant team goal. Savanyah took possession beautifully and started a team move that Ben finished with aplomb from Benji’s assist after Josh’s wonderful cross.

The lead was soon doubled when Man of the Match Benji gambled running in between defender and goalkeeper lifting a beautiful lob into the back of the net!

The second half was a lesson in game management. George G and Savanyah not giving the opposition a sniff, Ian and Lucas holding off aggressive opposition in midfield and Benji and George L turning on the tricks in the final third. Well played Barkingside and Coach Reagan. ⭐
