Great Team Performance from the U11's

"like watching Arsenal play" was heard from the crowd, and at times it certainly was. Pass and move was the order of the day with some battling defensive and midfield play thrown in.

After a few near misses, the scoring was opened by William with a great strike from the left of their goal. He picked up the loose ball and rifled it into the roof of the net from 10 meters out. The goalkeeper had no chance.

This started a run of dominance from Barkingside effectively putting the game out of reach by the first half.

FCF came out strongly in the second half and had some good chances, but great goalkeeping from Jacob, both saving and distributing the ball, kept the pressure on the opposition.

A penalty to Barkingside was dispatched coolly by Joe whilst a penalty at the other end was skewed over the cross bar.

Credit to the whole team who stuck at it for the whole match despite some clearly tired legs towards the end.
