8 Games Undefeated!

The Under 10s made it 8 games undefeated with a convincing win over Central Park All Stars.

George slotted in an early goal, a superb long range effort taking a deflection off the head of the defender giving the keeper no chance.

A second was added soon after, Kayson dribbling through the defence and firing home with ease. It’s good to have him back!

George, excellent once again today, saw a free kick saved at near post with Ben's effort saved from the resultant corner. Savanyah then spared the teams blushes after a short back pass routine that might need some work on the training ground! Then came wave after wave of Barkingside attacks with Ronnie, Ben, Kayson and Josh all going close and George with yet another effort from distance brilliantly saved. Finally Lewis was called into action at the very end of the half making a wonderful save with his legs.

The second half started the same way as the first with an early goal. Alfie scored, hitting beautifully across the ball following our best move of the season, involving a gorgeous Ronnie and Josh one two. The celebration was equally as impressive with Ben and Alfie ending up in a heap on the floor! Josh was pulling the strings now first making a great sliding block and then making a driving run and shot that smashed back off the post. He then set up Player of the Match, Alfie, to slot home at the end of a well worked corner routine. Kayson saw another effort saved and Alfie denied a deserved hat trick as their keeper kept the score down at the death. Roll on next weekend ! 💥 ⚽
